Another Auckland car dealership enters receivership

Auckland Vehicles Ltd has entered receivership. Thomas Rodewald, from Rodewald Consulting, was appointed as receiver of Auckland Vehicles by its director Grant Vincent and other trustees of the Grant Vincent Family Trust.

This follows the news that its franchises for Hyundai, Isuzu, Renault, KGM and LDV were taken over by Wingers Motors last month.

The big premises on Auckland’s Great South Road in Greenlane now lay vacant with the For Lease signs up. An old Economics teacher once told us that For Lease signs are good indicator of the health of an economy. When it’s booming, all the commercial property space is utilised. But when things turn sour, the For Lease signs go up. And there are a lot of them around at present.

Aucklanders don’t have to go far too go for Hyundai and Isuzu sales, with Winger Motors only a few hundred metres down the road.

Winger Motors Commercial Greenlane is just next door to the old site, at 460 Great South Road and now offers Renault, KGM and LDV models.

Servicing for all brands will be taken care of a little further on down the road in Penrose at an expanded Wingers service facility.
